CORE Sponsorship & Capitalization Manifesto
Provisional Patent Filed: U.S. 64/080,054 Research Program: CORE — Coherent Operational Reasoning Engine Operator: AssetOverflow LLC · Joshua Matthew-Catudio Shay Contact: github.com/AssetOverflow
What CORE Is
CORE is a deterministic AI architecture for inspectable, replayable, evidence-governed cognition. It is not a wrapper around a large language model. It is an independent cognitive substrate built on:
- Zero-allocation execution paths in Rust and Zig
- Algebraic coherence as a hard structural invariant — not a monitored metric
- Versor-based geometric algebra replacing tensor pipelines for spatial reasoning
- Vault-based recall that is exact and auditable, not probabilistic
- Claim-lifecycle governance with a formal teach → verify → promote sequence
Coherence is algebraic by construction — not monitored, not corrected.
Why This Matters
The dominant paradigm — stochastic sampling over opaque weights — produces systems that cannot audit their own reasoning, cannot guarantee replay, and cannot formally bound their failure modes. CORE is the alternative: a system where every cognitive step is a structured propagation through a field with a well-defined inverse.
This is not an incremental improvement. It is a different computational geometry.
Capitalization Tiers
Sponsors gain direct access to the research program, milestone ledgers, technical briefings, and attribution rights according to the tier below.
| Tier | Monthly | Access & Rights |
|---|---|---|
| Supporter | $5 | Early access to public experiment results; welcome message in the CORE verification system |
| Research Backer | $25 | Monthly experiment ledger and milestone updates |
| Project Sponsor | $100 | Technical release log with named attribution; priority issue queue |
| Institutional Sponsor | $500 | Quarterly technical briefings; may be acknowledged in applied research outputs at the researcher's discretion |
| Founding Sponsor | $1,500 | Enterprise roadmapping access; bimonthly briefings; named in provisional patent continuation filings |
Operational Paths
Two parallel capitalization paths are active:
Path A — Organic Sponsorship (Live Now)
GitHub Sponsors on AssetOverflow/core accepts recurring monthly commitments at any tier. All funds route directly to:
- Compute and API access for CORE evaluation runs (GSM8K, NIAH, CORE-native benchmarks)
- Rust/Zig toolchain development and zero-allocation kernel hardening
- Patent continuation filings and IP maintenance
- Open-source infrastructure and documentation
Path B — Institutional Grant & Contract Path (Planned)
Future outreach targets include AI safety foundations and federal research programs aligned with deterministic AI and inspectable cognition. No formal applications or relationships are currently active. Institutional sponsors at the $500+ tier receive briefing materials structured to support institutional due diligence and grant evaluation contexts when those processes are initiated.
Capital Efficiency Metrics
| Milestone | Estimated Cost | Unlocked By |
|---|---|---|
| Full Rust zero-allocation kernel (v1) | $18,000 | Path A accumulation or single Founding Sponsor |
| CORE-native benchmark suite publication | $4,500 | Research Backer cohort (6 months) |
| Provisional → non-provisional patent conversion | $8,000 | Institutional Sponsor (14 months) |
| Embodied robotics pilot (sensor integration) | $32,000 | Institutional grant or enterprise contract |
