Plan of record for the generalization arc lands here
(docs/plans/generalization-arc-2026-07-24.md) with the risk-tiered
handoff pack (docs/handoff/generalization-2026-07/); Phase 0.1 executed.
Root-caused the three stale lane pins (docs/research/lane-drift-
investigation-2026-07-24.md):
- miner/curriculum: 5c69b741 (ADR-0244 §2.7) widened content digests
16→64 hex; intentional, pins were simply never updated. Re-pinned
surgically; SHAs triple-run deterministic.
- demo_composition: a REAL serving regression. #76's canonical-first
base precedence in resolve_surface, activated when #96 routed pipeline
turns through the resolver, served the pre-R6 canonical — the register
axis (ADR-0077 R6 substantive + ADR-0071 R4 decoration) was silently
stripped from every pipeline-served turn. T13's back-stamp then made
telemetry mirror the stripped bytes; register-tour claims went red and
the e2e tests pinning the axis (outside smoke) were failing on main.
Fix: response-first base precedence (served bytes = post-guard, post-R6,
post-R4) + new SurfaceResolution.hash_surface carrying the truth-path
canonical-precedence bytes through substrate overrides, folds, hedge,
logos-morph, and the speculative marker. compute_trace_hash folds
hash_surface, so the register axis varies the served surface ONLY and
trace_hash stays register-invariant (ADR-0069 inv C). _prior_surface
(correction binding) stays on the truth path. Dead FailureClass import
and _assessment_residual removed.
Also: generate_claims.py had raised on every run since the
deduction_serve_v1 pin landed without a _LANE_ADR entry — mapping added
(ADR-0256), CLAIMS.md regenerated, --check green.
[Verification]: register tour 6/6 claims (substantive-differs restored,
all_trace_hashes_identical held); 88 tests green in-worktree
(test_surface_resolution incl. 2 new fallback tests,
test_register_substantive_consumption incl. previously-red e2e tests,
test_grounded_open_hedge_arm, test_cognitive_turn_pipeline,
test_warmed_session_lane 10/10 T13 consistency); miner/curriculum lane
SHAs byte-identical across three runs; deduction_serve + deductive_logic
lane reports byte-identical to their unchanged pins; smoke suite via
pre-push gate.
Composes v2-EN's connective grammar (if/then, or, and, either) with
v3-MEM's singular-membership sentence reading over one shared
per-individual atom space, so "If Socrates is a man then Socrates is
mortal. Socrates is a man. Therefore Socrates is mortal." decides — the
exact gap ADR-0258 §6.1 reserved. Genuinely fuses the two mechanisms: a
bare universal's instantiated atom can unify (via the same closed
morphology relation) with a connective leaf's atom, deciding arguments
neither band alone could.
- generate/proof_chain/cond_member.py: new reader. A sentence is checked
for a connective token BEFORE the universal-lead check (so a stray
connective can never leak into an opaque name/class run); reuses v3-MEM's
own _parse_singular/_parse_universal verbatim (already negation-aware,
so no separate negation layer is needed, unlike v2-EN's opaque minter).
Four new shape-bands (fused/disjunctive/chain/conditional), each earning
its own SERVE license.
- chat/deduction_surface.py: new fallback tier tried strictly after v3-MEM
— pure widening, every previously-served argument stays byte-identical.
- evals/deduction_serve/practice/gold.py: 4 new synthetic template groups
(20 templates), reusing the v3-MEM case generator; intended formulas
cross-checked against the independent oracle (INV-25).
- evals/deduction_serve/v2_condmem/: 26 hand-authored real-English cases,
content-disjoint from the synthetic corpus.
- ds-mem-0024 promoted declined -> unknown (not entailed — the antecedent
is never asserted in that text; this is the first promotion in the
corpus that doesn't land on entailed).
- Ledger re-sealed to 17 bands; deduction_serve_v1 lane SHA re-pinned
(surgical single-line edit, not a blanket --update).
Verification: core test --suite deductive 160 passed (31 new reader
tests); practice arena 17 bands x 720 wrong=0, all SERVE-licensed; lane
splits v1 28/28, v2_en 26/26, v2_member 26/26, v2_condmem 26/26; smoke 180
passed; warmed_session 10 passed. Flag deduction_serving_enabled stays
default-off.
CORE now decides natural-English deductive arguments end-to-end:
'If it rains then the ground is wet. It rains. Therefore the ground
is wet.' -> ENTAILED, rendered over the user's own clauses. Both of
ADR-0256's documented boundary cases (multiword conditional, nested-
negation contraposition) are now decided; their lane gold updated
declined->entailed.
- generate/proof_chain/english.py (new): closed function-word grammar
over OPAQUE clause-atoms (minted ids); if/then, [either] or, and,
three negation forms (leading not / sentential / copular incl.
contractions); typed refusals; honesty caps. Soundness: positive
verdicts are substitution-closed; UNKNOWN is scoped + guarded
(quantifier-led, is-a membership, unnormalizable negation refuse
out of the opaque band).
- render_entailment_english: verdicts quoted back verbatim; UNKNOWN
phrasing explicitly scoped to the opaque reading.
- chat/deduction_surface.py: v2-EN fallback tier AFTER v1/v1b —
monotone widening, byte-identical on previously-served arguments.
- Four en_* shape-bands EARN SERVE via the ADR-0199 arena (720/band,
wrong=0, reliability 0.99087 >= 0.99); 9-band ledger re-sealed.
- evals/deduction_serve/v2_en: 26 hand-authored real-English cases
(content disjoint from the synthetic lexicon), wrong=0; report
re-pinned.
- realizer guard (ADR-0075): deduction surfaces exempt — quoted
templates are not slot-composed articulations (pack 'open'=VERB
was rejecting an honest quoted 'the door is not open'); pinned
cold+warm in e2e.
[Verification]: deductive 84 passed; smoke 180 passed; cognition 122
passed 1 skipped; arena 9x720 wrong=0 all SERVE; lanes v1 28/28,
v2_en 26/26.
core chat now decides Aristotelian syllogisms end-to-end -- the marquee
'basic logical work' widening. Closes Phase 0's fork: the ONLY categorical
decider was evals/syllogism/oracle.py (the sealed independence oracle serving
must not import; INV-25). This ships a production decider.
generate/proof_chain/categorical.py lowers a categorical argument to the
propositional regime (one Boolean atom per term-membership profile) and rides
the already-verified ROBDD engine -- no new decision procedure, soundness
inherits from the flagship. Sound AND complete for the modern/Boolean reading
(Darapti + existential-import-only forms correctly INVALID), with no reliance
on a lucky domain size. Independent of the eval oracle by mechanism (ROBDD-
over-profiles vs brute-force finite-model enumeration); proven by case-for-case
agreement with it across the whole syllogism gold lane.
New: generate/proof_chain/categorical.py, render_syllogism (deterministic
valid/invalid/inconsistent templates), CATEGORICAL shape-band, arena
categorical band (4 valid forms + 2 invalid, by-construction gold cross-checked
vs the independent syllogism oracle), tests/test_categorical_decider.py (8
tests incl. the independence-by-agreement proof).
Changed: chat/deduction_surface.py (categorical branch, license-gated via a
shared _license_gate helper; propositional path byte-identical), arena
DeductionSolver dual-path in lock-step with the composer, re-sealed ledger (5
bands, categorical earns SERVE at 0.99087 wrong=0), Phase-2 lane decide()
mirrors the dual path with the 3 categorical cases reclassified to their true
valid/invalid verdicts + 1 invalid case (n 27->28), report+SHA regenerated.
Honest wrinkles: irregular plurals ('fish') decline with unknown_morphology
(a reader limit, correctly not a wrong); surfaces read in singularized terms
('all whale are animal') -- the exact ids the engine reasoned over, no cosmetic
re-pluralization that could drift from the decision.
[Verification]: smoke 180 passed; cognition 122 passed/1 skipped; core test
--suite deductive 45 passed; test_categorical_decider 8 passed; practice
runner 5 bands all SERVE wrong=0; deduction_serve lane SHA regenerates to the
committed pin.
New evals/deduction_serve/ lane scores the PRODUCTION serving decider
(the exact comprehend -> to_deductive_logic -> evaluate_entailment_with_trace
pipeline chat/deduction_surface.py runs) end-to-end from raw text --
distinct from evals/deductive_logic (bare engine vs formula strings) and
evals/comprehension/propositional_runner.py (reader fidelity vs the
independent oracle, not the production engine). This is the only lane
proving the capability core chat actually serves.
27 hand-authored cases (gold computed by independent logical reasoning,
not copied from a first engine run), 4 classes: entailed/refuted/unknown/
declined. 27/27 correct, wrong=0. Wired into core test --suite deductive
(tests/test_deduction_serve_lane.py) and SHA-pinned in
scripts/verify_lane_shas.py (deduction_serve_v1).
Honesty check during authoring: a case intended as 'entailed'
(contraposition, 'Therefore if not q then not p') actually declined --
tracing why found a genuine reader-grammar boundary (negation cannot
nest inside an if/then clause; generate/meaning_graph/reader.py's _chunk
rejects it). Reclassified to declined/out_of_band_nested_negation
(documented in contract.md) rather than forcing an artificial pass, and
added a replacement entailed case (three-hop chain) to keep coverage.
Out-of-scope finding (documented, not fixed here): running
scripts/verify_lane_shas.py --update to compute this lane's pin also
re-executed every OTHER registered lane and surfaced two pre-existing,
unrelated problems on main -- miner_loop_closure/curriculum_loop_closure/
demo_composition regenerate non-deterministic content IDs (their
committed pins don't reproduce even on a clean checkout), and public_demo
errors outright (matches the known env-timeout flake in project memory).
Reverted all four lanes' results/*.json and PINNED_SHAS entries to their
original committed values -- this PR's only PINNED_SHAS change is the new
deduction_serve_v1 entry.
[Verification]: smoke 180 passed; cognition 122 passed/1 skipped;
core test --suite deductive 25 passed; evals.deduction_serve.runner
27/27 wrong=0; pinned SHA independently re-verified against the
committed report.json bytes.
2026-07-23 directive: instrument candidates-proposed-per-served-turn on
clean, post-reset traffic. Adds an additive-optional turn_count_baseline
manifest field (engine_state) stamping the turn_count at the last clean
reset of the discovery-candidate ledger, a pure compute_discovery_yield
function (teaching/discovery_yield.py), and a read-only `core teaching
discovery-yield` CLI surface. Fails closed (returns None / exits 1) when
no baseline has been stamped rather than fabricating a denominator.
scripts/ops/stamp_discovery_yield_baseline_20260723.py stamps the T11
reset epoch into the live store, mirroring reset_candidate_corpus_t11's
atomic generation-dir pattern. Dry-run verified against a throwaway copy
of the live store's gen-21703; not yet executed against the real store
(see PR body).
Weekly-audit 2026-07-22 closeout — T13 decision (3) CI gate + T11 execution.
- scripts/hooks/pre-push + install.sh: a core.hooksPath pre-push gate that runs
the smoke suite PLUS the warmed_session consistency lane pin — the T13
telemetry-consistency regression class that smoke does NOT cover. The full
~12k fast-lane stays async CI by design; the gate is deliberately targeted so
it blocks the regression class without gridlocking pushes. Fail-closed on
empty stdin; skips deletion-only pushes; emergency bypass git push --no-verify.
- scripts/ops/reset_candidate_corpus_t11_20260722.py: provenance record of the
T11 live-store reset. The 465 discovery candidates predated the #100
isolation fix and carried no per-record test/prod discriminator, so a surgical
quarantine was impossible; ruling was to clear (not asterisk). Executed as an
ADR-0219 atomic generation reset (empty candidate ledger, keep=1) — candidates
465 -> 0, turn_count 14990 and identity lineage preserved, tainted generations
GC'd. Data lives in gitignored engine_state/; this script is the audit trail.
- AGENTS.md: document the automated pre-push gate under the Local-First CI
Validation Protocol.
- weekly-audit ledger: T10 merged (#100), T11 ruled+executed, T13 (2) hedge-arm
ruling + (3) pre-push gate recorded.
[Verification]: smoke 180 passed (132.9s) + warmed_session lane 10 passed
(140.5s), exit 0 — worktree core-wt-infra @ base 9a428d84.
The inverted-seed P2 regex treated optional "times" as optional, so
additive "8 more" on multi-entity zoo case 0361 extracted as pure S1 and
the three-gate corridor emitted 1.125 vs gold 114.0 (wrong≠0).
- Require explicit multiplicative surface (times as many / twice the …)
- Fail-closed purity gate: multi-clause markers, multi-numeric, multi-mult
- Regression tests for 0361 and bare "N more"
- measure --mode full-holdout-wrong0 over all 500 holdout cases
[Verification]: full-holdout emit_ok=9 wrong=0 refused=491; unit 37 passed
Increment 2 for ADR-0252 Track B. Extends Increment 1's structure-mapping
slice with pure-family canonicals S2–S4, overlapping-waves selector, and a
structure-mapping-owned pure-S1 text extract that recovers four real
holdout cases the serving reader misses (0148, 0228, 0234, 0441).
Bar results (command-backed via scripts/measure_trackb_inc2.py):
- generalization ratio S1 = 9.0 (9 holdout cases / 1 template)
- coverage gain organ 5 → trackb 9, wrong=0
- selector routes S1/S2/S3; refuses empty; surface≠structure
Off-serving: no organ retirement, serving reader untouched. S2–S4 holdout
ratios are 0 (parser frontier). S3/S4 emit refuses at multi-register scope
without weakening the three-gate wrong=0 path.
[Verification]: Smoke suite passed locally (~132s, 176 passed);
trackb unit tests 35 passed; measure_trackb_inc2 all modes green.
ADR-0252 §5 geometric SME is NO-GO; this is Track B Increment 1.
Adds role-predicate conversion from MathProblemGraph, S1 canonical skeleton,
blind symbolic mapper (match/refuse + binding), and solve via classical
verify plus multi-register certificate. Research report and holdout measures
included. Serving reader unchanged; no S2–S4 generalization.
lane-shas.yml has intermittently failed under Act-runner contention with
truncated/ambiguous logs (see docs/plans/adr-0241-0242-session-completion-
summary-2026-07-15.md #38 postmortem: run #167 failed at ~22m39s, but local
verify_lane_shas.py showed 9/9 pins matching — the failure was never
conclusively attributed to a timeout vs an incomplete log, because the
script buffers all per-lane output until every lane finishes).
Two changes, no lane logic touched:
1. Stream progress per lane (`-> lane_id ... done (Ns)`, flush=True) instead
of buffering until the end, so a hang shows exactly which lane and for
how long even if the job is killed before the final summary prints.
2. Make the per-lane subprocess timeout configurable via
CORE_LANE_VERIFY_TIMEOUT_S (default unchanged at 900s — same knob shape
as CORE_SHOWCASE_HARD_BUDGET), and report a TimeoutExpired distinctly
from a genuine SHA mismatch so the remediation text stops suggesting
`--update` (re-pinning) for what is actually runner contention.
[Verification]: tests/test_lane_sha_verifier.py 6 passed; ruff clean;
scripts/verify_lane_shas.py run locally with the new streaming output
confirmed correct per-lane timing (e.g. demo_composition 154s) end to end.
Root cause of demo_composition pin thrash was not cancelled CI runs:
verify_no_global_state_mutation dumped full env_subset before/after
tuples into the lane report, embedding CORE_ENGINE_STATE_DIR temp
paths (and any ambient CORE_* host values). Each hermetic run then
produced a different report SHA.
Fix for good:
- Report key-level env deltas only (+/- / changed), with path-like
CORE_* values redacted to <path> in the message text.
- Detection still uses raw snapshots (mutations are not ignored).
- Hermetic CORE_ENGINE_STATE_DIR for demo_composition and all
verify_lane_shas invocations.
- Dual-run-stable re-pin: demo_composition e2ba2314…,
public_demo 7d8ba0db… (matches CI-observed soft-budget SHA).
- Drop dead CORE_SHOWCASE_SKIP_BUDGET workflow env (soft is default).
- Tests pin the delta format and hermetic-path stability.
Lane: python scripts/verify_lane_shas.py → 9/9 match.

Add extract_scalar_candidates() with exact source spans and problem_text
provenance while keeping canonicalize_scalar() as the detached pack helper.
Morphology labels now emit missing_* only when substrate frame/unit lookups
actually fail, not on mere trigger-surface presence.
Introduce deterministic practice-memory infrastructure that adapts sealed
scout output into compact, retention-gated ExperienceRecords with family,
hazard, and promotion-candidate summaries. No serving, corpus, pack, or
report.json mutation — measurement-only adapter for future sprint reuse.
Gate A1 and related cognition-path changes shifted the showcase
determinism fingerprint (86db25b6…) while the lane pin still reflected
the pre-drift artifact (e323adb3…). Re-pin to the CI-verified SHA
2895df08… and refresh v1_dev.json + CLAIMS.md.
Hermetic demo hygiene: use no_load_state for register-tour, learning-
loop, and multi-hop showcase adapters, and isolate CORE_ENGINE_STATE_DIR
in the public_demo lane runner so local engine_state/ pollution cannot
affect eval output or wall-clock.

Depends on LG-1 (#737). No mutation endpoints, no engine math in the UI.
scripts/workbench — a single robust entrypoint so a fresh clone runs the
Workbench the FIRST time, not sometimes:
- doctor: fail-loud preflight (uv, node>=20, pnpm via corepack, curl) — each
failure prints the exact fix, never a half-started UI
- setup: idempotent — uv venv + editable CORE install + pnpm frozen install,
only when actually missing; re-runs instant
- up: health-gated start of the stdlib API (:8765 /health) + Vite UI (:5173),
reuses already-healthy ports, invokes vite directly so Ctrl+C tears down
both cleanly (TERM-then-KILL, EXIT trap); logs to /tmp/core-workbench-*.log
- pure-Python backend (numpy) — no Rust build required to run the Workbench
- API_PORT / UI_PORT overridable
Tested end-to-end: up in ~5s (API /health 200, UI 200), clean teardown
frees both ports. README gains a 'CORE Workbench — one command' quick-start
as the most-discoverable visual entry, with the first-time-works guarantees
spelled out for an external evaluator.
First R3 (Theater) piece. Reworks the stale artifact-keyed ReplayRoute into
the turn-keyed hero over the #716 sealed-replay backend, and fully retires
the dead W-026 artifact-keyed machinery on both sides (the NOT_YET_MIRRORED
comment anticipated this).
The hero makes determinism *felt*: pick a journaled turn, CORE re-executes
its prompt in a sealed fresh runtime, and the result renders as a hash
verdict (≡ equivalent / ≠ diverged) + the original/replay DigestBadges + a
leaf diff (critical weighted above informational, each with a ≠ glyph). The
'What this proves' card surfaces comparison_basis + origin_state and states
the honest limit: a divergence means nondeterminism OR origin-state
influence, never rendered on its own as a determinism failure.
Retirement (verified zero serving uses):
- Python schemas.py: removed ReplayComparison/ReplayDivergence/ReplayStatus/
ReplayDivergenceSeverity; scripts/dump-enums.py drops the two replay enums;
both snapshots regenerated (deterministic: dump == committed)
- TS: removed ReplayComparison/ReplayDivergence/ReplayDivergenceSeverity;
added TurnReplayComparison/TurnReplayDivergence (+ basis/origin/severity
unions); NOT_YET_MIRRORED now empty (every engine schema mirrored)
- badges: removed ReplayStatusBadge + ReplayDivergenceSeverityBadge +
meta/enums + their enumCoverage cases (hero renders severity inline)

Follow-up flagged (not in this PR to keep it focused): the artifact query
hooks (useArtifacts/useArtifactDetail/fetchArtifacts*) are now orphaned but
entangled with the still-live artifact EvidenceSubject kind — a separate
cleanup once an Artifacts route or that subject's fate is decided.
Brief: docs/handoff/wave-R3-briefs-2026-06-13.md (all four R3 pieces).
- EvidenceChainRail: the spine's seven stages rendered per subject with
the honesty contract — lit/hollow/dim derive ONLY from carried fields
(a trace hash lights 'replay' as RECORDED, never as verified); pure
deriveStages() with meaningfully-fail tests (remove one field -> exactly
its stage hollows).
- Hash display standard: DigestBadge default 12-char + copy everywhere;
CopyableHash consolidated away (2 call sites swapped, file deleted).
- Typography: tabular-nums on MetadataTable values + eval metrics;
text-wrap balance on Panel titles + EmptyState statements.
- Selection unification: new --color-selected-bg/-border tokens; selected
(persistent) vs focused (transient) now visually distinct across
Proposals/Replay/Evals lists; focus-ring no longer doubles as selection.
- EmptyState gains a deterministic monochrome inline-SVG glyph.
- Panel adopted in Evals lane list + Proposals queue.
- Doctrine-as-tests: hexScan (no palette literals outside tokens.css/
generated tokens.ts) + schemaDrift gate (scripts/dump-schemas.py AST
walk -> schema-snapshot.json -> every dataclass field mirrored in
types/api.ts; explicit shrink-only NOT_YET_MIRRORED debt list).
The drift gate caught real drift on first run: ChatTurnResult.turn_id
existed in Python, missing from TS — now mirrored.
Verified: build green; vitest 36 files / 279 tests EXIT=0; playwright
12/12; dump-schemas.py runs clean.
ADR-0184 S4b — the replay/provenance equivalence boundary, the
precondition for any semantic-primary path. After #685 the in-repo
legacy path delegates to the semantic boundary, so old-vs-new is
vacuous; the durable reference is a pinned canonical trace artifact
(evals/gsm8k_math/equivalence/v1/, 937 problems) whose authority is
the #684/#685 cross-tree differentials (documented provenance chain).
- state/provenance.py: replay_is_faithful — the replay bridge's law as
a checkable structural property (no verify/pool import; covered by
the #685 authority scan).
- equivalence/trace.py: canonical traces (worlds, candidates, order,
multiplicity, classifications, resolutions) + authority_violations
re-deriving the pool commit law from trace content.
- scripts/verify_semantic_equivalence.py: check / --update gate
mirroring verify_lane_shas.py.
- tests/test_adr_0184_s4b_replay_equivalence.py: full-corpus live-vs-
pinned equality, corpus-wide authority + faithfulness, and 17
single-mutation non-vacuity proofs.
Pure additions; verify.py/pool.py untouched; no serving, CLAIMS,
metrics, or lane pins moved.
INV-25 makes the GSM8K lesson structural: no capability claim is valid unless
its gold is computed by a procedure sharing no code with the system under test.
Three meaningfully-failing checks (proven able to fail): 25a oracle imports no
SUT module (AST); 25b every committed deductive gold is reproduced by the
independent oracle AND matched by the engine; 25c an unsound engine disagrees
on committed cases.
SHA-pin the deductive lane (deductive_logic_v1, dev+holdout+external 716/716,
wrong=0, refused=0) via a deterministic --report writer + run_as_module (the
lane dir's local generate.py shadows the package in script mode) + CLAIMS regen.
Fix drift the review surfaced: contract.md + pivot doc claimed an 8,000/7,340
fuzz and an 'external mirror' -> corrected to the real gated 3,000-case fuzz
(2,796 definite) and 'hand-authored, NOT a published-benchmark mirror'; pivot
doc GSM8K holdout 0->5 (all 5 are R1 reconstruction; composer scored 0).
Validated: smoke 78, deductive 23, proof 29, invariants 44, lane-sha+claims 9.
build_refusal_taxonomy_cases._STATEMENT_RE only matched the old 'no admissible
candidate for ...' shape, so post-#359 'recognizer matched but produced no
injection ... (category=X)' refusals were silently dropped (44 refusals -> 12
extracted). Extend it to both shapes (same gap fixed in rescan_v4 before that
layer was retired).
The lane mirrored 50 cases from the all-refused era; the reader now admits 6,
so it covers the 44 refused. Regenerated the cases fixture + committed
report.json and updated the count pins (50 -> 44).
Removed the perverse categorized_rate >= 0.95 floor: the exact histogram is
already pinned by test_committed_report_matches_categorizer, and the rate
drifts DOWN as the reader graduates categorized refusals — it fought reader
progress. Replaced with a sanity floor.
adr_0126: the unparseable 'contemplates' input still refuses (wrong=0); only
the reason wording changed (#359). Accept either non-admission phrasing.
* fix(adr-0191): candidate-graph completeness guard — real-corpus wrong 5->0
The candidate-graph reader (serving) checked grounding + round-trip but had
no completeness obligation, so problems whose later clauses failed to parse
emitted a partial reading. Over the full 7,473-question real GSM8K train
split this confabulated 5 answers (wrong!=0) the 47-case train_sample hid;
2 were regressions from #488.
Add the missing admissibility leg (mirrors the derivation reader's verify.py):
every source quantity (all statements + question) must be consumed by the
chosen reading, else refuse. Refusal-only -> cannot create a wrong answer.
Number-sense is pack-authoritative (en_numerics_v1 parse_compound_cardinal +
lookup_multiplier + all 6 currency symbols) so it never disagrees with the
engine; aggregating initials expose consumed_value_tokens provenance.
Evidence: real-corpus wrong 5->0, correct held at 4; train_sample byte-
identical 4/46/0; G1-G5+S1+G3.1 green; smoke 67 passed; math_teaching_corpus
lane byte-identical.

* feat(adr-0191): committed full-corpus GSM8K microscope (standing wrong=0 + coverage instrument)
Promotes the throwaway tmp/ microscope that found the 5 confabulations into a
committed tool. Runs the canonical serving reader over any GSM8K corpus and
reports failures-first: correct/wrong/refused, every wrong answer by name,
refusal families, and the no-injection per-category coverage map that ranks
which injector to build next by real frequency.
Default corpus is the committed 47-case train_sample (always available);
--corpus path runs the full real split. This is the ADR-0191 follow-up: re-run
after every capability PR, not just train_sample — a flip is only real if it
does not widen the confabulation surface.

Operator ratification of the four Phase B round-2 proposals per
ADR-0163:
- 8c7645b4 — discrete_count_statement
- 03627f6f — multiplicative_aggregation
- 00547671 — currency_amount
- 4d47a247 — temporal_aggregation (v2 widening)
All four passed Phase C's admissibility replay gate at propose-time:
replay_equivalent=True, wrong_count_delta=0. Each acceptance also
appends the synthetic admissibility chain to teaching/cognition_chains.
Post-ratification empirical signal (verified by running the
train_sample lane):
- correct: 3 (unchanged)
- refused: 47 (unchanged)
- wrong: 0 (unchanged — invariant holds)
The case-level lift did not materialize because the architectural
bottleneck migrated from STATEMENT admission to QUESTION admission.
44 of 47 cases now refuse on a QUESTION (vs 7 pre-ratification).
The four new recognizers' matchers fire on 36 of 47 first-failed
sentences, but the cases then refuse on a different (later)
sentence — typically the question itself.
The unlock for this round is Phase D.3 (conditional-prefix question
recovery, PR #308) + a follow-up parser-grammar extension to handle
mass nouns (how much), modal verbs (will be able to), and pronoun
entity resolution. Those touch grammar surface, not admission
wiring; separate ADR.
This PR commits the ratification audit trail. The lift composes
when Phase D.3 lands and the grammar layer follows.
wrong=0 invariant: preserved by Phase D's skip-only construction.
Statement-level recognizer matches contribute zero math state to
the Cartesian product; no recognizer can introduce a wrong answer
under skip-only semantics.

The four round-2 ratifications appended synthetic admissibility
chains to teaching/cognition_chains/cognition_chains_v1.jsonl,
which is consumed by the public_demo lane. The lane's deterministic
output SHA changed accordingly — drift confirmed by CI on origin
PR #309 (`✗ public_demo e323adb35ea17987.. expected 888ddd0d12635d70..`).
Re-pin per the standard remediation:

python scripts/generate_claims.py
This is the expected corpus-mutation cycle following ratification.
No code change, no test change. The new public_demo SHA reflects
the engine's new admissibility surface; the lane runner's output
is byte-stable under the new corpus.
